The Global Campaign Activation was the name given to the launch of the Olympic Channel. A streaming service providing sports 24/7 when the games end.
During the Olympic Games, social media is abuzz with moments and people inspired by sport. Combing for popular hashtags we would look for such images and moments which would be featured at a specially created showcasing facility.
Short and crisply edited trailers of the Original content would also be showcased for the visitors to see and get a feel of.The message at the end would invite people to downloadthe app and be inspired by sport.
Visitors would also be able to interact with the Olympic Channel interface in real time via touch screens.

THE IOC President tells the world
During the Closing Ceremony, the IOC President will give a speech whereby announcing the launch of the Olympic Channel to the entire world. During the speech, he will perform a live demo on the big screen.
“The Olympic Games Rio 2016 has come to an end. I want to thank our Olympic audience around the world, our partners who make the Olympic Games possible and most importantly the athletes who come here from every corner of the world for an incredible 17 days of unparalleled competition as embodiment of the Olympic spirit. Every athlete who crossed the finish line here in Rio is an inspiration to us all — and this inspiration should not end here. I would like to announce the official launch of the Olympic Channel. A place to be inspired by sport.”
In his closing remarks on the Olympic Channel, he invites the audience to share the moments they are most inspired by during the Closing Ceremony #inspiredbysportt
